\'HEINZ TO HOME’: HEINZ OPENS ITS FIRST UK ONLINE SHOP TO HELP NATION RECEIVE MEALS WITHOUT LEAVING THEIR HOMES

\r\n

Today we’re pleased to announce the launch of ‘Heinz to Home’, our first ever online shop selling the nation’s favourite canned foods to help feed those in self-isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

\r\n

While the production of our most loved Heinz varieties continues at speed, we’ve been working day and night on our new online shop to ensure we can deliver thousands of Heinz meals direct to those struggling to access food essentials.

\r\n

‘Heinz to Home’ will stock bundles of delicious Heinz varieties made up, initially, of 16 cans: eight x Heinz Beanz, four x Heinz Hoops and four x Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup. With delivery direct to your doorstep within three days, our online shop is a quick and simple way to get heart-warming meals into your home.

\r\n

We will soon be expanding our product range with additional Heinz favourite sauces, including Heinz Tomato Ketchup, and we’ll also be making sure babies across the UK have access to tasty food made with natural ingredients with the imminent launch of a Heinz Baby bundle (for babies aged six months+).

\r\n

If you want to share a little love and kindness then you can also send a Heinz to Home bundle to someone you know. All you need is their name and address and 16 cans of some of the nation’s favourite food can wing their way to their doorstep too.

\r\n

We’re pleased to be partnering with Blue Light Card, the UK\'s number one discount service for NHS, Emergency Services, Social Care Workers and Armed Forces, to ensure all frontline workers receive free postage and packaging and priority shipments on all orders.

\r\n

Those registered with Blue Light Card will receive a unique code for their online shop, in an effort to save them money, time and hassle shopping for their kitchen essentials. Members just need to login to their account and search for the Heinz offer in order to access their code. For anyone that is eligible for membership that hasn’t yet joined and wants to find out more and complete the membership registration by clicking the register now button.

\r\n

The bundles of Heinz Beanz, Hoops and Soup will cost just £10, plus £3.50 postage & packing, and are available from the Heinz offer page from April 9.

Jojo de Noronha, President of Kraft Heinz Northern Europe, said:

\r\n

“We are very proud to announce the launch of our new online shop - Heinz to Home - which will deliver Heinz varieties directly to the doorsteps of people across the UK from today.

\r\n

“The shop is a first for us, and it comes in response to stories we’ve all heard in the last few weeks. Stories about people struggling to access food and basic necessities, where people are understandably upset about how they are going to eat and stay healthy during this pandemic, and about people who need food but can’t access it in any of the usual ways.

\r\n

“While we continue to work day and night to get our most loved Heinz varieties on shelf, we hope this new initiative will help those who cannot otherwise access our products.

\r\n

“As part of this initiative we also want to thank all key workers - these are the people who are ensuring we are still able to access essential items, receive the medical services we need and keep our streets safe.”

\r\n

Tom Dalby, CEO of Blue Light Card, said:

\r\n

“Those who work in our NHS and emergency services are doing amazing work at this time. We have always valued what they do on a daily basis, but now more than ever, we have the utmost respect for their bravery and dedication on the frontline.

\r\n

“We are really excited to be working with Heinz, one of the nation’s most loved brands. This partnership shows not only the strength of the Blue Light Card partnership, but also the enormity of support for our members around the UK.”
